Low number of entrants - however the majority opted to compete which was nice. Great to see a couple of new faces entered from our membership. Financial results were good considering the low numbers.

2016 Event

Saturday 12 March
Grey gloomy day all day but nowhere near the humid heat of the last few days.
Not too windy but more a cross wind that along the runway.
The whole place looks wonderful and green.
Here a just a few pictures.

MARCH 11-14 2016

It’s different, running over three segments, you choose between scale concourse, flying for realism and importantly, free flying.

Better still, participate in all three for a single entry fee.

 Any fixed wing scale model is eligible, we are looking forward to seeing modified ARFs and mammoth scale aircraft to name but two.

Limited camping available.

 Entry Fee is $20 for the free flying, plus $10 per model, if you want to enter segments which are to be judged.

Field opens Thursday 10 March, Friday 11, set up etc. Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 ACTIO(n) competition, then Monday 14 is free flying, for those who can stay a little longer.

Another One?

That is the question - I believe there will be another in 2016.

Great Weekend

Inaugural event was fairly well attended, there were 21 pilots registered and over 30 aircraft.
